Workorderama-PW™ is the newest addition to our award-winning family of asset and work order management systems. It is specifically designed for the unique needs of Public Works departments with special features to manage electric, water, wastewater, forestry and sign assets.

Workorderama PM mapping

Workorderama-PW lets you use your digital asset data without learning how to use GIS software. A simple map interface lets you pick work areas or individual network assets and add them directly to work orders. Or, you can use the map window to see completed work. Switch between easy-to-read street maps or aerial photos provided by Microsoft® Bing™ Maps. That means there’s no need for a real time connection to your GIS system.

Facility Wizard Software Named One of America’s Fastest Growing Private Companies for Second Consecutive Year

Facility Wizard Software, a leading provider of software and Web-based solutions for facility management, construction and real estate professionals, announced that it has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of the country’s fastest growing private companies.

The list, compiled by Inc. magazine, ranked companies based on their percentage of revenue growth from 2005 through 2008. Qualifying companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – with at least $2 million in revenues.

Inc 5000

“It’s exciting to be ranked among the country’s most successful private companies,” said Dave Johnson, Facility Wizard President/CEO. “The recognition is great, but mostly it’s about the people that use our software. It validates our idea that you can deliver powerful solutions to enterprises and workgroups and still keep things simple.”

Hello World!

December 17, 2009

Welcome to Wizard Watch from all of us here at Facility Wizard Software. In this space, we hope to provide some valuable insights into our software solutions, the customers that enjoy them, and the people that create them.

The Wizard

2009 presented all of us with a bunch of challenges. Nobody breezed through the past year. At the same time, this new economy has forced us to quickly learn a lot about our capabilities, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities. We learned more about our ‘sweet spot’ – integrating simple-to-use software into the enterprise – and we made significant progress towards taking advantage of it.

2009 also brought more than 40 new organizations into the Facility Wizard world. Great corporations (Rackspace, Domino’s, Duke Energy), municipalities (Grapevine, Texas and St. Charles, Illinois), universities (University of St. Thomas and University of South Florida) and hospitals (Loma Linda University Medical Center and Simi Valley Hospital) all joined our community of users. Even the New Zealand Ministry of Social Development decided to reach halfway across the globe and start using our software.

We are very excited about 2010. We’re unveiling Wizard Watch as a regular tool for keeping you in tune with our newest developments, ideas, success stories, and the community of smart people that have become ‘fans’ of our software.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any ideas about how we can improve our products, continue to grow, and most importantly, keep making your life easier. Thanks again.

Dave Johnson, President & CEO
